This project not only commemorates a pioneering scholar,
but also seeks to re-read his works as a foundation for reflection.
It invites us to re-examine the groundwork Professor Tsai laid for the field of religious studies in Taiwan.
At the same time, it raises a pressing question:
Has the discipline truly established itself in Taiwan today—and where will it go from here?
